22 September 2026 – WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 officially opened. As one of the leading players with a complete wind power industry chain, CRRC exhibited four core solutions: a full wind power industry chain, full lifecycle solutions, high-end equipment, and integrated wind-solar-storage-hydrogen systems. Leveraging innovative technologies and proven deployment experience from China, the company showcased scalable, replicable, and highly reliable new energy system solutions to the global market.

Building a Comprehensive Wind Power Industry Ecosystem

After more than a century of expertise in high-end equipment manufacturing, CRRC has leveraged core technologies developed through its rail transit business, including traction motors, converter control, transformers, gearboxes, and precision manufacturing. By transferring and continuously innovating these technologies across industries, CRRC has built a comprehensive wind power ecosystem spanning the entire value chain, from complete wind turbine systems, generators, blades, and towers to gearboxes, converters, transformers, and high-end fasteners. This integrated capability has enabled CRRC to establish distinctive technological strengths and competitive advantages in the wind power sector.

With a well-established industrial layout and a mature product system, CRRC's wind power products cover the full power range of 1.5 MW to 12 MW onshore and 8 MW to 20 MW offshore, adapting to wind power development scenarios worldwide. The company now operates more than 20 wind turbine manufacturing bases globally, with over 13,000 turbines running steadily across nearly 400 wind farms. Its green footprint extends across Europe, Oceania, Asia, and South America, continuously delivering stable, clean green power to the world.

Upgrading the Full Product Portfolio to Meet Diverse Global Market Needs

At this year's WindEnergy Hamburg, CRRC presented its complete new energy product portfolio, from core turbines and key components to energy storage equipment. With independent R&D across all product categories and collaboration across the full industry chain, the company demonstrated its manufacturing capabilities for high-end markets worldwide.

The VELSTAR Z07 and S07 international wind turbine platforms are designed respectively for onshore and near-shore applications in Europe and complex wind conditions worldwide, offering high reliability and intelligent capabilities. CRRC also showcased a floating wind power platform that overcomes the structural limitations of traditional fixed-bottom systems and is suitable for deep-sea applications, providing a new pathway for the development of deep-sea wind power worldwide.

In the core components sector, CRRC's strong capabilities are on full display. The company has established five wind turbine generator technology platforms covering 600 kW to 25 MW, while its wind power gearboxes have reached an internationally advanced level in torque density and its annual blade production capacity exceeds 5,000 sets. Core supporting products such as 10.9-grade high-strength MTD series lockbolts ensure the safe, stable operation of wind turbines throughout their lifecycle, laying a solid industrial foundation for the company's expansion in the global high-end market.

Driving Innovation through Multi-Energy Integration to Build a Smart Energy Ecosystem

Going beyond wind power equipment manufacturing, CRRC leverages its full value-chain strengths to develop an integrated smart energy solution combining wind, solar, energy storage, and hydrogen. Through an intelligent energy management platform, the solution coordinates the operation of wind power, solar power, energy storage, and hydrogen production. Overcoming the limits of relying on a single energy source, it enables multi-energy integration, efficient utilization, and stable output, which reduces new energy generation's reliance on weather conditions and supports the development of new power systems worldwide.

At the exhibition, CRRC also presented a range of core energy storage equipment, supporting both renewable energy utilization and grid stability. The 6.X liquid-cooled energy storage battery compartment uses an optimized heat dissipation structure and a multi-level safety system to suppress the heat island effect. The MW-level vacuum magnetic levitation flywheel energy storage device offers a rated power of 1,250 kW, a rotational speed of 10,500 rpm, and an ultra-long cycle life of 1.5 million cycles, enabling high-frequency power response within milliseconds. Together, electrochemical storage for long-term voltage stabilization and flywheel storage for short-term support provide solid backing for stable grid operation worldwide.

Looking ahead, CRRC will continue to deepen its global industrial footprint and international technological cooperation, while upgrading its wind power, energy storage, and integrated wind-solar-storage-hydrogen solutions. With an open, collaborative approach, CRRC will bring together global resources and leverage its reliable intelligent manufacturing, advanced technologies, and proven solutions to support the global green and low-carbon energy transition and build a sustainable green future together.
