Recently, the “Picturesque Landscape - Colorful Guizhou” tourist train, upgraded by CRRC Chengdu and operated by China Railway Chengdu Group, embarked on a new journey. Connecting Sichuan, Chongqing and Guizhou, the sightseeing route offers travelers a new way to enjoy a leisurely summer journey through southwest China. Featuring a dreamy purple scheme, the train incorporates ethnic patterns and other cultural elements, creating a distinctive sight as it travels through the landscapes.
The 11-carriage train offers a variety of functional spaces, including soft sleeper carriages, a dining car and multifunctional sightseeing carriages. Each four-person soft sleeper compartment is equipped with a tea table, storage space, a TV, charging ports and a call system. The design of the bed ladders and steps has also been optimized to improve comfort and safety, particularly for elderly passengers. The multifunctional sightseeing carriage features floor-to-ceiling windows, along with leisure, sightseeing and entertainment facilities, providing passengers with open views and a relaxing travel experience.
CRRC placed the focus on passengers’ travel needs for the upgrade. By incorporating cultural elements into the train and renovating its functional spaces, CRRC leverages its expertise in rail transit manufacturing to enhance the travel experiences.
