Recently, the Dongguan Rail Transit Line 1 project, equipped with CRRC products, entered service, marking a new milestone for the city’s metro network.
As Dongguan’s first GoA4 fully automated driverless metro line, Line 1 is designed for a maximum operating speed of 120 km/h. The bogie-controlled braking system developed by CRRC SRI is fully compatible with automated operations, offering quick response, high control precision, safety redundancy, and a high level of intelligence control.
The new trains developed by CRRC Puzhen for Line 1 embody eco-friendly design principles from materials to engineering. Technologies such as lightweight carbody and bogies, aluminum-alloy brake discs, variable-frequency heat pump air conditioning, and regenerative braking reduce overall energy consumption effectively. The trains are also equipped with air purifiers that provide efficient air sterilization and deodorization, ensuring clean air inside the cars. In addition, waterborne coatings and environmentally friendly materials are widely used to minimize the impact on environment, demonstrating CRRC's commitment to sustainable development.
