Overview:
Depending on the mounting position, articulation are divided into upper articulation and lower articulation.And TMT articulation are applied to trams, air trains,rubber-wheeled trains and EMU.
Structure and the Function:
1. Fasteners are used to connect the articulation to the car body to ensure that the articulation is mounted tightly.
2. Coupling support is the main part of the articulation,which is able to withstand the loads and ensure the strength of the connection.
3. Joint bearing is the key component of the lower articulation and is characterized by maintenance-free and self-lubrication.
4. Link assembly mainly connects the front and rear coupling supports and transmits both load and motion.
Main Characteristic:
· Lower articulation can withstand a longitudinal compressive load of 1000kN and a vertical load of 120kN. And has a maximum deflection angle of 6.5°;
· The upper articulation mainly bears longitudinal and transverse loads,and consists of an system with the lower articulation to ensure that the vehical can pass through vertical and horizontal curves smoothly;
· The mainly structure of articulation meets the requirments of a 30 yeas service life and a maintenance-free cycle of up to 16 years.
