Founded in 1959 as the Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute under the Ministry of Railways, CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Co., Ltd. (CRRC ZIC) is now a wholly owned first-tier subsidiary of CRRC Corporation Limited.
CRRC ZIC operates 11 core entities, including one listed company.
