CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Showcases New-Generation Solar and Storage Products at The Smarter E Europe 2026

Munich, June 2026 — CRRC Zhuzhou Institute took part in The Smarter E Europe 2026, held June 23–25 at Messe München, presenting new solar and energy-storage products at Booths B2.540 and B2.640 in Hall B2.

The highlight was its new 6.X Liquid-Cooled Energy Storage System, which raises energy density by 25% and reduces site footprint by over 20%. The system has completed large-scale fire testing and multi-tier extreme-safety validation under UL 9540A:2026 and NFPA 855:2026. It is backed by the 200 MWh Bohot BESS project in Bulgaria, which reached full grid connection on April 3, 2026. As of May 2026, the company's energy-storage business spanned more than 25 countries and regions. 

On the solar side, the company showcased its "Chixiao" 460 kW PV inverter, which inherits high-speed-rail-grade design standards and adopts new-generation silicon-carbide (SiC) devices for the first time, improving power density by 28% and lowering system costs for large-scale plants.
