Tsinghua University - CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Joint Research Center Officially Launched!

On January 6, 2026, the inauguration ceremony of the "Tsinghua University (QS World University Rankings #17) - CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Joint Research Center" was held at Tsinghua Garden. Co-founded by the university and the enterprise under the principles of "Friendly Cooperation, Technological Empowerment, and Sustainable Development", the center leverages Tsinghua’s academic legacy in power systems and CRRC Zhuzhou Institute’s strengths in industrial green transition. It will focus on tackling four core technological pillars:

►Electrified drive and power supply technologies for heavy-haul transportation

►Green transportation energy supply systems integrated with renewable energy

►Intelligent interaction technologies between transportation-energy networks and energy systems

►Key power electronic equipment for new power systems

The center will establish a full-chain innovation mechanism spanning "basic research-technology development-engineering verification-industrial application". The first batch of initiated projects covers cutting-edge fields including new power systems and low-altitude aerial vehicles.
