Ningbo CRRC Times Transducer Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 1990. Its predecessor was the Ningbo Branch of Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute. It is one of the first two ministerial‑level research institutes established in Ningbo in an organized manner. As a third‑tier subsidiary of CRRC Corporation Limited (H‑share & A‑share), it is a wholly‑owned subsidiary of Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric Co., Ltd. (H‑share & A‑share), whose parent company falls under CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Research Institute Co., Ltd. It was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2006 (03898 HK) and on the Sci‑Tech Innovation Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2021 (688187 SH).

  With more than 30 years of development, Ningbo CRRC Times Transducer Technology Co., Ltd. focuses on its core transducer business. Rooted in rail transit, it expands into new‑energy sectors to drive differentiated and coordinated industrial development. Keeping pace with intelligent and connected trends, the company has built three major product lines: rail‑transit transducers, PV & industrial transducers, and new‑energy vehicle transducers.

  Upholding the philosophy that technological innovation drives industrial progress, the company prioritizes building a specialized, highly‑educated talent pool. It has over 300 employees, of whom more than 80 % hold bachelor’s or higher degrees. A national‑level Post‑Doctoral Workstation has also been established onsite.

  As CRRC’s exclusive unit for transducer R&D, manufacturing and mass delivery, the company is among the first to set up the “CRRC Sensing & Measurement Technology R&D Center”. It holds numerous credentials including National Key High‑Tech Enterprise, National Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise (recognized by MIIT). It has obtained quality‑system certifications of ISO 22163 (rail transit) and IATF 16949 (automotive industry).
