On December 7, the diesel locomotive professional from the Gabonese Republic of Africa, Louvet and his group, shared their experience of learning the operation skills of Diesel locomotives in CRRC Ziyang.
"CRRC Ziyang has strong technical strength, especially the diesel engine assembly and bogie assembly are very impressive", said Louvet. "We must bring these advanced operating concepts back to Gabon to make better use of the advanced locomotives".
Gabon, known as the "Land of Black Gold", is rich in mineral resources such as manganese and iron. CRRC Ziyang has exported a total of 22 locomotives to Gabon. These mature and reliable locomotives with excellent performance, undertake more than 55% of the customers' transportation tasks, and become the main traction power for local manganese ore transportation.
As a user representative of Gabon, Louvet said happily, "We like CRRC Ziyang locomotives very much! They not only have simple operation and high utilization, but also have large power and strong load capacity. In the triple heading operation, on the ramp of 8.3‰, it can pull more than 10,000 tons of manganese ore"
Up to now, CRRC Ziyang Co., Ltd has continued to provide for 15 countries in Africa, more than 200 diesel locomotives of various types and more than 10 diesel EMUs.
