On the occasion of the 113th International Women's Day, the All-China Women's Federation issued the "Decision on Commending the National Red-Banner Pacesetters, Holders and Collectives, the National Women's Civilization Stations, National Women's Work Pacesetters and Advanced Collectives". Two individuals and four collectives in Ziyang City were on the list. Among them, Electrical Installation Group I of Ziyang CRRC Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Company, was awarded the title of "National Women's Civilization Station".
This is another award of the collective after winning the honor of "Red-Banner Collective of Sichuan Province", "Red-Banner Collective of Ziyang City", "Women's Pacesetter Station of CRRC" and " Women's Civilization Station of Ziyang City".
There are 21 employees in the Electrical Installation Group I, including 13 female employees, which is a collective of 62% female employees. It is also a team that loves their jobs, has excellent skills, strict discipline and outstanding performance.
In 2022, this female-dominated group achieved excellent results in various tasks such as "Technical Research", "Quality and Efficiency Improvement", "Safety and Environmental Protection", "Lean Improvement" and "Group Building", and completed the electric locomotive manufacturing and repair tasks with high quality, and held up "half of the sky" in completing the annual production!
Love for the job, breaking through bottlenecks to meet the challenge!
In the past year, facing the heavy task of HXD1C locomotives’ overhaul and various new locomotives’ manufacturing, the Electrical Installation Group I was united and overcame many pressures such as tight delivery cycle and shortage of human resources,etc. They successfully broke through more than 10 production bottlenecks such as central trunking assembly, cab wiring and arrangement, and connector production, which impressed other groups.
In response to production anomalies and unexpected situations, the group worked together to achieve "Optimization of Cab Wiring". They also used wire crimper to position and control the pin length to ensure that the crimping length of the connector pins is consistent. They made wiring tooling for low-voltage cabinets and terminal blocks to improve the wiring environment and improve the wiring efficiency and quality. They made welding tooling for tin soldering of plugs, solving the problem of unstable welding quality of plugs in the cab.
Through joint efforts, the whole group of employees fought against the high temperature and the epidemic, achieving a 100% fulfillment rate of the project and creating the miracle of completing the electrical installation of 57 electric locomotives in 40 days.

The Electrical Installation Group I strictly implemented various quality improvement activities and led the implementation of the "Real-name Operations" and "Standardisation of Central Trunking Wiring" improvement projects.
In the process of pre-laying the central trunking, the group operated in strict accordance with the specifications. More than 1,000 cables of the whole locomotive were strictly required to be formed from the length of the cable cutting to each outlet of the cable. Each cable was routed according to the established route. The formed cables were clearly organized, well-arranged, and consistent in radian. It was highly praised by the evaluation team in the on-site review process of Locomotive Manufacturing Supervision Project Department of China Railway Chengdu Group Co., Ltd.
The 7 batches of 30 units of HXD1C locomotives overhaul which the group participated in ranked first in the comprehensive evaluation of China Railway Group from the second half of 2021 to the first half of 2022, winning reputation and establishing a good corporate image for CRRC Ziyang.

The Electrical Installation Group I always insists to the skill inheritance and multi-skilled worker training, and always maintains the excellent tradition of "Teaching, Helping and Leading", truly achieving the master's dedication to teach, and the apprentice's open-mindedness to learn and ask for advice.
The members of the team are constantly learning by doing work, and the young people have been growing rapidly with a strong learning atmosphere. Over the years, 3 senior technicians, 6 technicians, more than 20 senior workers and 3 core talents have been trained for the commissioning and after-sales service of HXD electric locomotives.
Since its establishment, the group has sent 3~5 people to the Company's locomotive commissioning and after-sales service positions every year, which is called "Excellent Locomotive Electrician Training and Reserve Base" by the Company.

The ladies of the Electrical Installation Group I actively responded to the call of the Company and participated in the assignment work. 10 people were assigned to perform the task and successfully completed the production targets set by the workshop.
These women are both the wives at home, mothers of children and the backbone of the company, and they have only one belief: "Resolutely complete all work!" . When they are on assignment, they leave their hometown, but they undertake it silently, without any regret.
The locomotive electrician is a relatively meticulous and tedious type of work, a characteristic that is particularly evident in the general assembly line of electric locomotives. Each of the women in the Electrical Installation Group I handles more than 3,000 cables every day, crimping various pins hundreds of times and plugging in control cables more than 500 times.
In recent years, the Electrical Installation Group I has continuously won various honors at the national, provincial, municipal and CRRC. This is the greatest praise for their hard work and selfless dedication.
