SDA1 locomotive is China’s first proprietary AC drive diesel locomotive that has been sold to developed country. Such locomotive boasts multiple advantages, for example, small running noise: noise in the driver’s cab is lower than 75db, strong traction force: traction force by double locomotives exceeds 8,000t along the route with gradient of 10‰.

SDA1 locomotive is reputed as “King of Mountain” by Australian users. It ever became famous overnight for its success in passing traction performance certification test along the Cowan Bank (regarded as devil curve) route in Australia.

Back then, on the S-shaped route with average gradient of 25‰, minimum curve radius of 220m, and total length of 8.6km, a SDA1 locomotive successfully passed through it within 26minutes when hauling 1500t. In view of this, users specially wrote letter to CRRC Ziyang, hailing SDA1 locomotive as “King of Mountain”.

By now, CRRC Ziyang has exported a total of 30 SDA1 AC drive diesel locomotives to Australia, becoming an outstanding player in export of homemade high-end diesel locomotives.

HD100 DMU was another eye-catching point at this CIIE.

It is a DMU product that was customized by CRRC Ziyang for African harsh application environment featuring high temperature and strong wind & sand storms. Due to its people-oriented design, this product provides more comfortable riding environment, thus it receives warm welcome from local people.
