The ironclad friendship between China and Pakistan has been further deepened in the land of Ziyang.

From Oct. 19th to 20th, Mr. Ghulam Qasim, Chief Mechanical Engineer/Loco. of Pakistan Railways, and Mr. Muhammad Yusuf, Director of Planning Dept. of MOR Pakistan paid a visit to CRRC Ziyang.

Mr. Chen Zhixin, the President, Mr. Yang Wensheng, Vice President, and Mr. Zhou Li, Vice General Manager, warmly received them.

This visit was a continuation of the delegation led by Mr. Salman Sadiq Shaikh, Additional General Manager/Mechanical of Pakistan Railways, to the Company at the end of August this year.

At that time, the delegation of Mr. Salman Sadiq Shaikh was very impressed by the self-developed HXN6 hybrid locomotive with the world-leading technology level.

On this occasion, Mr. Ghulam Qasim and Mr. Muhammad Yusuf focused on an in-depth exchange on the hybrid technology, reliability and life cycle cost to evaluate the feasibility of its application in Pakistan.

After two days of discussion, Mr. Ghulam Qasim believed that the hybrid locomotive of CRRC Ziyang was the advanced representative of China's new energy locomotive field, with significant energy-saving and emission reduction effects, low operation and maintenance costs, as well as good popularization. ‘I hope that the hybrid locomotive of CRRC Ziyang can speed into Pakistan quickly.’

They also visited the Company’s production lines for diesel locomotive and electric locomotive, and gave full recognition to its strong locomotive R&D strength and high level of process & equipment capability.

‘I came to CRRC Ziyang as a supervisor 8 years ago, and today I am back here as a Chief Mechanical Engineer/Loco.. I'm amazed at how much the Company has changed!’ Mr. Ghulam Qasim said, ‘This time we get to know CRRC Ziyang from more details. From building the design team to managing the production site, as well as guaranteeing and tracking product quality, the Company has done a great job.’
