On March 14, Pakistan's Saindak Heavy Oil Power Plant Project was successfully started!
This is a new achievement made by the Company and MCC Resources Development Co., Ltd. to steadily promote the construction of "the Belt and Road Initiative" and jointly promote China-Pakistan energy cooperation!
The contract for the Saindak Project was officially signed in January 2023. During the project implementation, the Company collaborated closely with all parties to overcome challenges such as tight construction schedules, simultaneous operations, and extreme weather conditions, ensuring the on-time delivery and smooth installation of equipment.
The power station serves as the main source of electricity for MCC Resource's Saindak Gold and Copper Mine Production Expansion Project.
The successful completion of the power station and power generation will be conducive to safeguarding the production of electricity in the mining area, and provide solid support for the owner to realize the doubling of production capacity in 2024.
Since entering the power station business in 2007, the Company has successfully constructed over 30 heavy oil power plants and substations for more than 10 countries including Bangladesh, Bolivia, Angola, and Pakistan. These projects have provided reliable energy support for promoting local economic development and improving people's living standards.
