On February 24, the Lantern Festival of the Year of Loong (Year of Dragon), CRRC Ziyang held a commending ceremony for the project teams who made great contributions in 2023.
In the past year, CRRC Ziyang was engaged in four great projects, Sierra Leone Project, R&D International“Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation” Project, C6 Complete Overhaul, and the Renovation Project of Dwelling Houses for Staff Workers. These not only reveal the wisdom and strength of the teams but also inject new vigor and vitality into the sustained and sound development of the company.
The commending ceremony was held on the first workday of the company. It means not only to cheer for the teams’ diligence and outstanding contributions but also to encourage the staff workers to make persistent efforts for the company’s transformation and upgrading, sustained and sound development.
General Manager of the Company Yang Wensheng gave out cups to the four project teams and sent them fresh flowers and then had group photos taken with them to mark the occasion.
Vice-GM Zhou Li hosted the ceremony.
The leading group, the principals of various units and the departments and workers’representatives witnessed the occasion. Peng Zhangfu gave a speech on behalf of the teams that won the 2023 Outstanding Contribution Award.
He thanked the company leaders for their recognition of the teams. He said that the R &D Project Team will take on the heavy responsibility and make joint efforts to carry out the assignments so as to steadfastly implement the strategic goal of the company and make greater contributions.

Later, the representatives of the rewarded teams put the koi fish into the fishpond, which symbolized good luck. This means the company is like a fish leaping over the dragon gate (passing the competitive examination) and having a bring future!
