PIS series high-voltage disconnector is installed on the roof, high-voltage box or in-vehicle network side cabinet. Its main function is to optimize the operating conditions of high-voltage device in 25kV circuit. In the event of a high-voltage device fault, the disconnector can isolate the faulty part and maintain the operation of EMU, greatly reducing locomotive failure caused by such faults and ensuring the safe operation of rolling stock.
