The 160 km/h power-concentrated EMU is suitable for all speed-up electrified railways. It is the main product of China's new generation of conventional passenger cars, which will further promote the upgrading of China's railway technical equipment and improve the supply quality of railway products.
The 160 km/h power-concentrated EMU is capable of operating on existing lines at a speed of 160 km/h (utilizing the LKJ train operation control system) and on mixed passenger and freight lines at a speed level of 200 km/h (utilizing the CTCS-2 train operation control system). Both ends of the EMU can be operated and controlled. When an EMU has a failure, a locomotive or similar EMU can be used for rescue.
The 160 km/h power-concentrated EMU can be flexibly marshalled according to the operation requirements, with no more than 20-car formation for operation, including:
1.Typical short formation (1 motor car + 7 trailers +1 control car), two short-formation EMUs can be coupled for operation;
2.Flexible short formation (1 motor car + 4~7 trailers +1 control car), and two short-formation EMUs can be coupled for operation;
3.Typical long formation (2 motor cars + 18 trailers);
4.Flexible long formation (2 motor cars + 9 ~ 18 trailers).
The 160 km/h power-concentrated EMU has the following characteristics:
1.The setting of the control car shortens the turn-back time;
2.The interfaces of powered vehicles, trailers and control vehicles produced by different enterprises are completely consistent, which can realize arbitrary marshalling;
3.The powered vehicles/control vehicles can realize interconnection and mutual control among different platforms;
4.The operation interface of driver and crew is simplified, and the key components of EMU are simplified and interchangeable;
5.The double-pantograph and double main circuit breaker mode is adopted to improve the redundancy of the main circuit;
6.The integrated technology of main and auxiliary circuits is adopted to realize the uninterrupted power supply function for neutral section passing of the auxiliary system.
7.DC600V train power supply system with IGBT four-quadrant rectification and water cooling mode is adopted;
8.The frame-suspension bogie with hollow shaft six-link drive mechanism is adopted, and the end face tooth flexible coupling is added;
9.The microcomputer-controlled automatic Chinese standard brake is adopted, and the EMU adopts 5-wire electro-pneumatic braking.
