HXD2C Electric Locomotive
  The HXD2C electric locomotive is a 6-axle locomotive independently developed by CRRC Datong Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CRRC Datong"). It integrates advanced technological achievements in locomotive design and is suitable for the environment of domestic railway lines. This type of locomotive has a total power of 7200kW, and can realize the traction of 5000-6000t heavy-haul freight trains by a single locomotive. It can give full play to the power capacity of locomotives, with good economic efficiency and world-class technical indicators. It is the main freight electric locomotive for trunk railway lines in China.

Application Scenario

  This locomotive is developed based on the heavy-haul freight electric locomotive platform of CRRC Datong. It focuses on the heavy-haul freight demand of major railway bureaus under CHINA RAILWAY, and is mainly used for traction tasks of railway heavy-haul freight, coal transportation and railway transportation production.

Key technologies

  1.The locomotive generally adopts the advanced modular design method based on functional system, which is conducive to improving the standardization, serialization, maintainability and usability of products.

  2.The bogie is of a herringbone frame, C0 axle type, nose suspension drive unit; the primary suspension is spring suspension, and the secondary suspension is rubber stack; the middle push-pull short drawbar structure is adopted.

  3.Integral load-bearing welded vehicle body structure, frame type corrugated plate side wall without cross beam, and unified underframe composed of center sill and bench. The raw materials of the vehicle body have good impact toughness value at a low temperature of -40°C.
