CRRC Datong Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CRRC Datong") has developed permanent magnet direct-drive freight electric locomotives with higher power based on the successful development of permanent magnet direct-drive passenger electric locomotives. Compared with passenger permanent magnet direct-drive locomotives, the traction torque of freight permanent magnet direct-drive locomotives is larger.
The application of permanent magnet direct drive technology improves the drive efficiency of high-power electric locomotives. The direct drive wheelset drive system has no gearbox assembly, which improves the reliability and maintainability of the drive system. The direct drive coupling is simple in structure, convenient for assembly and disassembly, and maintenance-free as a whole. After the technical achievements are fully mature, they will be popularized and applied to the international and domestic locomotive markets. This type of locomotive is completely independent in design, and CRRC Datong has completely independent intellectual property rights. The successful application of this type of locomotive will make the technical level of China's high-power electric locomotive reach the international leading level. It is another major technological leap after replacing DC drive with AC drive, and leads the technical development direction of rolling stock in the future.
1.The permanent magnet direct-drive freight locomotive adopts "permanent magnet motor+direct drive mechanism" to replace the traditional "asynchronous motor+gearbox drive mechanism", which is characterized by high efficiency, energy saving, environmental protection and long maintenance period.
2.The locomotive is equipped with 80kWh power battery pack, which can meet the requirements of multi-scenario application of locomotives, such as driving in shed, auxiliary load test, 110V battery charging, temporary electricity consumption of living equipment, etc.
3.Improvement of intelligence and comfort. The cab is equipped with an intelligent voice control system to improve the operation convenience of drivers and passengers and reduce labor intensity. A living area is set at the tail end of the locomotive to provide a comfortable living area for drivers and conductors when necessary.
