2000 kW Battery Locomotive

  The 2000 kW battery locomotive is a six-axle battery locomotive developed by CRRC Datong Co., Ltd. based on the 2000 kW hydrogen-fueled cell hybrid locomotive. It is a high-power new energy locomotive designed to meet the peak pushing, transfer operations, pull-in, and pull-out operations of freight yards with a load of more than 3000 t. The locomotive is designed with a power of 2,000 kW at the wheel rim and features technical characteristics including high power, platform-based design and intelligence.

Application Scenario

  The 2000 kW battery locomotives are mainly used for shunting and transfer operations in locomotive depots, rolling stock depots, marshalling yards and factories, mines, ports and other places with discontinuous electrification. By adjusting the configuration of the power battery, the locomotive can achieve a maximum power output at wheel rim of 3,000 kW to meet the shunting and transfer operation requirements under most working conditions.

Key technologies

  1.High-power traction performance: The traction power at wheel rim of the locomotive can reach 2000kW, which is the battery locomotive with the largest traction power at wheel rim in China at that time.

  2.Platform design: The locomotive is a modular design concept, and can achieve a maximum power output at wheel rim of 3000kW by adjusting the configuration of the power battery.

  3.High-power fast charging technology: The locomotive is equipped with intelligent flexible pantograph charging technology, with a maximum charging power of 1000kW. At the same time, it is safer and more convenient to charge, which is suitable for rail transit characteristics.
