The high-power new energy locomotive with a swappable and chargeable battery features a modular design. The electrical principles and interfaces of the main large components of the locomotive are designed to be simple and unified. The modular design enables the rapid development and the fastest delivery of various power source products to users.
The locomotive with a maximum installed power of 3,750 kW·h can easily cope with long-distance and large-capacity transportation tasks. Electric braking feedback makes it possible to further optimize energy utilization efficiency. On one charge, the locomotive can haul 5,000 ton straight track for 17.5 hours; the starting traction force reaches 570 kN, meeting the demand of greater heavy-load traction. The maximum hauling capacity on a straight track is 16,000 t, and the slope starting performance of the locomotive is stronger. The locomotive can start on a 7‰ ramp while hauling 5,000 t; an optional quick battery swap power battery can be swapped within 30 minutes, which improves operational efficiency.
Assuming that the average traction weight of locomotive is 5,000 t, the annual running mileage is 20,000 km, and the annual cumulative power consumption is about 800,000 kWh, compared with diesel locomotives, it is equivalent to a reduction of fuel consumption by about 266 t, a saving of operating cost by about RMB 1.43 million, and a cumulative reduction of carbon emission by about 888 t.
The locomotive has a wide range of application scenarios and can be used in heavy-haul freight railways. Its large traction force, long endurance mileage and fast battery swapping technology can meet transportation needs in non-grid areas and during grid area skylight periods. The locomotive can be used in ports, steel mills and other lines. Its low noise and zero emission meet the requirements of environmental protection and can provide strong green power for enterprise transportation operations.
