KR Battery Locomotive

  The KR battery locomotive is a new-generation low-carbon, environmentally friendly battery electric-powered shunting locomotive developed by CRRC Datong Co., Ltd. in line with the new concept of green development. It boasts fully independent intellectual property rights and signifies a transition of locomotives towards new energy sources. The locomotive complies with ROK's gauge requirements and is adaptive to shunting operations on small curves and steep gradients. It is characterized by stable performance, reliable construction, zero emissions, and enhanced environmental protection and energy efficiency.

Application Scenario

  Locomotive products meet the shunting and transfer operations of industrial and mining enterprises such as logistics parks, steel mills, cement plants, and various rail transit equipment maintenance factories.

Key technologies

  1.Platform-based design: The locomotive power range can cover 410 kW~700 kW, the axle load ranges from 17 t to 20 t, and the maximum running speed can reach 80 km/h. A flexible design platform for new energy locomotives has been built, and the vehicle and components are designed with modular structure to meet the needs of short cycle, small batch and customized market.

  2.Remote control driving technology: The locomotive features wireless remote control driving technology, and a strict safety strategy is formulated to ensure the safe operation of the locomotive.
