Belarusian Railways BCG-2

  The Belarusian Railways BCG-1 is a broad-gauge high-power AC drive 6-axle electric locomotive developed for the upgrading of railway locomotives in Belarus. It has been certified by EAC Customs Union. 18 locomotives of this type have been produced. It is the first time that China has passed EAC certification for electric locomotive products, which can realize cross-border transportation in customs union countries. They undertake the traction task of "China Railway Express" and are the main traction force for international railway intermodal transport in Belarus and neighboring countries.

Application Scenario

  It is suitable for freight traction operation on 1520mm broad-gauge railway trunk lines. The locomotive adapts to the special weather and climate of Belarus, can operate safely in extremely cold weather of minus 40°C, and can achieve multiple operation with a variety of models to meet the requirements of transnational transportation operations.

Key technologies

  1.Multi-locomotive multiple operation: The locomotive has the multi-locomotive multiple operation control function, which can realize multiple operation of 3 locomotives, including multiple operation with Belarusian Railways BCG-1 electric locomotive.

  2.Cold resistance: The locomotive is welded with special steel, and the cold-proof design is strengthened to ensure that the locomotive can operate safely in extremely cold weather of -40°C in winter.

  3.Automatic fire prevention and control: The locomotive is equipped with an automatic fire extinguishing device to monitor the fire in real time 24 hours a day, and can automatically put out the fire, thus improving the safety protection performance of the locomotive.
