The CRRC Intelligent Power Supply and Transmission System achieves the "oil-electricity" and "electricity-electricity" conversions by setting up a power supply rail on the vehicle side and transmitting the grid electricity to the dump truck through the power receiving unit on the vehicle. It is suitable for large open-pit mines, water conservancy projects etc.
The system consists of mining dump truck (including truck and pantograph), rails, catenary and traction substation. It can realize customized design for the mines according to the fleet size and road conditions. The system is subject to intelligent technologies such as lane keeping, automatic pantograph lifting and lowering, and pantograph-catenary monitoring, so that operators can operate the trucks more conveniently.
It features energy conservation and emission reduction, greening and environmental protection, improving the full-load climbing performance of trucks and reducing engine maintenance costs. Compared to the traditional overhead flexible pantograph, it has the unique advantages of convenient relocation of pantograph-catenary, more stable operation, no occupation of lane, and no need to modify the head of the truck for lateral pantograph installation (more convenient replacement or repair of water tank and engine).
1.Energy conservation and emission reduction, greening and environmental protection
Compared to the trucks powered solely by diesel engine, this truck has reduced engine displacement; compared to the trucks powered solely by battery, the required battery capacity can be reduced. "Zero" emission can be achieved under the operating conditions of collector rails. With 120t truck as an example, the fuel power cost can be saved by about 86%.
Improvement of climbing performance
Collector rails are mainly erected for climbing operation, to provide greater power, give full play to the wheel-hub drive performance, and improve climbing speed and operational efficiency.
2.Lower engine maintenance costs
The engine runs at idle speed and under non-full-power conditions for a long time, so the maintenance interval and maintenance costs of the engine can be improved.
3.Convenient relocation of pantograph-catenary
Mining tunneling works require movement of rails. The traditional overhead flexible pantograph features a long construction period due to the greater erection height, and its relocation is easy to cause damage to the flexible catenary wires as well as low recycle rate. The lateral collector rails can effectively solve this problem.
4.No occupation of lane
Compared to the traditional overhead flexible pantograph, the rails are located at the lateral side of the lane and a lower height. There is no bracket or suspension at the truck roof, with no obstacles affecting the operator's vision, so that the safety can be improved.
5.More convenient maintenance
Compared to the traditional overhead flexible pantograph, it does not occupy the space at the head of the truck. For the maintenance of water tank and diesel engine, there is no need to dismantle the pantograph and collector devices, thus facilitating the maintenance.
(Take the CR240E mining dump truck as an example, with a load capacity of 220t)
