  CR240EG plateau mining dump truck is a 220t electric drive mining dump truck independently developed by CRRC Datong Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CRRC Datong") and tailored for the plateau environment. The frame features a cast-welded combined box section structure, with key stress points designed as a cast structure. The carriage features a welded structure with lightweight design, and both sides of the bottom plate are of "U"-shaped structure, which reduces the weight of the carriage and prevents the adhesion and retention of goods. The hydraulic system uses an electric brake pedal to control the dual-circuit hydraulic proportional valve, realizing accurate brake pressure control and quick response of front and rear axles. The front suspension is of MacPherson type, and the rear axle adopts a four-link connecting structure. The core components of the truck, such as converter cabinet, resistor cabinet, wheel-hub reducer, main generator and traction motor, are all provided by CRRC.

  CR240EG mining dump truck is equipped with a plateau engine suitable for an altitude of 5500m and a reliable electric drive system, with a rated load of 220t and a maximum speed of 55 km/h. With strong maneuverability and high efficiency, it can meet the transportation requirements of open-pit mines and large water conservancy and hydropower projects in plateau environment.

  

Application Scenario

  It is mainly used in large open-pit mines and water conservancy projects in plateau environment, especially in the transportation of coal, ore and other materials.

  In addition, the mining dump truck can also work together with excavators, loaders, belt conveyors and other engineering machinery in civil engineering to form a loading, transportation and unloading production line for the loading, unloading and transportation of earthwork, gravel and bulk materials.

  In an open-pit mine in Xizang, industrial tests were carried out between the pit and the unloading site to ensure efficient operation by virtue of excellent quality and high-quality service of the truck.

Key technologies

  1.Sufficient reserve power, quick response, good fuel economy and high efficiency

  Cummins QSK60-2S plateau engine with high performance, high reliability and mature application is selected as the power system. The engine adopts an electronically controlled high-pressure common rail fuel injection system and a direct injection type intake chamber, and is equipped with 4 turbochargers to adapt to the plateau environment. The highly integrated single-motor double impeller ventilator is adopted to meet the ventilation requirements, with compact structure and small occupation space.

  Electrical system: The plateau-type integrated main and auxiliary converter cabinet and resistance brake cabinet are selected to ensure long-term reliable and stable operation of the truck.

  Hydraulic system: The hydraulic braking system adopts a full-hydraulic constant-pressure variable displacement pump for energy supply and control; the hydraulic lifting system adopts the electric control mode of parallel energy supply by two gear pumps. A fuel tank pre-pressure filter is provided to avoid the hydraulic pump from sucking air and ensure the normal operation of the hydraulic system in a low atmospheric pressure environment. A temperature control valve is provided to realize the function of controlling the temperature of hydraulic oil, which can cope with temperature changes in the plateau environment.

  2.Strong structural performance and longer service life

  Model system: It is subject to a box section design and welded with high-strength alloy steel plate, and features excellent welding performance and mechanical properties. The key bearing components are made of forgings and castings for a longer life.

  The cargo compartment is arranged with an "I"-shaped framework and regional wear plates. The bottom of the cargo compartment is raised in a "V" shape, which can improve the stress, enhance the rigidity of the cargo compartment and prolong the service life of the cargo compartment as a whole.

  3.Strong adaptability to plateau operating conditions

  Auxiliary system: It is equipped with an engine preheating system to meet the requirements of normal start-up after truck engine preheating in a low temperature environment.

  4.Considerate interior design, comfortable cab

  ROPS&FOPS cab is equipped to provide a safe driving environment for drivers. According to the particular operating conditions in plateau areas, dispersion oxygen generators and parking heating devices are equipped to ensure that the truck can be heated for more than 3 hours when it is parked, providing a comfortable and reliable working environment for drivers of plateau vehicles.
