The SS3 electric locomotive is the second generation of 6-axle passenger and freight locomotives in China. The locomotive adopts bridge full-wave rectification and realizes thyristor phase-controlled smooth voltage regulation. The locomotive adopts a single-phase AC 25kV 50Hz voltage system with a maximum operating speed of 100km/h.
1.The vehicle body adopts a frame-type integral load-bearing structure to meet the lightweight requirements.
2.The bogie adopts unequal wheelbase, horizontal pull rod traction device and elastic axle box pull rod to transmit traction force, which has good axle weight transfer and curve passing performance.
3.The main circuit adopts an unequally divided three-section half-controlled bridge rectifier composed of a rectifier and a thyristor, which has stepless acceleration characteristics, smooth starting and large acceleration.
4.The traction motor is a series-excited pulse current traction motor. Electrical compensation and idling and sliding protection devices with axle weight transfer improve the adhesion characteristics of locomotives.
5.The brake system uses a DK-1 type electro-pneumatic brake and is equipped with an air dryer, which greatly improves the air source quality of the air system.
6.The control circuit adopts electronic control, and the electronic control cabinet adopts SMT design with status detection and fault protection functions.
