The "China Star" high-speed electric EMU powered vehicle is based on the "AC drive powered vehicle" of the "Ninth Five-Year Plan" national science and technology research project and the domestically produced AC drive passenger electric locomotive. It has absorbed a number of advanced technologies from the world, was jointly organized by the former CSR and CNR, and was jointly developed by the former Datong Locomotive Factory and CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd. It is China's first centralized power high-speed train powered vehicle with independent intellectual property rights.
1.AC drive technology is adopted, and the electric drive system adopts a domestically produced GTO water-cooled converter unit with a wide speed regulation range of constant power, large shaft power, good adhesion characteristics, high efficiency and power factor.
2.The auxiliary converter device can provide VVVF and CVCF three-phase auxiliary power supplies, classify and grade the power supply to the auxiliary units, and has strong system redundancy and good energy saving and noise reduction effects.
3.The control system adopts a domestically produced distributed microcomputer network control system, which realizes the network control, logic control and self-diagnosis functions of the entire vehicle.
4.The new cooling method using main converter, main transformer oil and water composite cooling is the first in China.
5.The vehicle body is lightweight and streamlined, and the double-arch streamlined head shape is used for the first time in China.
6.The bogie adopts small wheel diameter wheels, six-link two-stage hollow shaft elastic drive, rear push-pull flat drawbar, integral wheel and hollow axle disc brake, herringbone gear and other technologies.
