HXD2D Passenger Electric Locomotive

  HXD2D fast passenger locomotive is a 6-axle 7200kW passenger electric locomotive for railway trunk lines designed based on the HXD2 series locomotive technology platform to adapt to the use environment of China's railways. The main structure and components of the locomotive adopt advanced and mature technologies used in HXD2, HXD2B, and HXD2C electric locomotives. The locomotive has a single axle power of 1200kW and a maximum operating speed of 160km/h.

Application Scenario

Key technologies

1. The converter system adopts the self-developed NECT system, and the changeover switch design of the intermediate circuit secondary resonance reactor effectively improves redundancy.

2. The control system adopts the independently developed on-board network control system based on TCN international standard (IEC61375-1).

3. The locomotive ventilation system adopts independent ventilation on the side wall, and two sets of mechanical room ventilators can meet the micro-positive pressure requirements of the mechanical room.

4. The locomotive adopts an anti-haze design, most of the high-voltage electrical devices are integrated and installed in the grid-side high-voltage cabinet, and the top cover high-voltage cable routing area is designed with an anti-stepping protective cover

5. The body structure adopts an integral load-bearing frame welded structure, flat side walls, streamlined cab head shape, chassis and bench integration, and the body width is 3000mm.

6. The bogie design adopts the elastic suspension technology of 200km/h locomotive bogie, and the structure of the main components adopts a proven mature structure that has been optimized and designed.
