SS7 electric locomotive is a 6-axle 4800kW freight locomotive. The locomotive adopts single-phase power frequency system, voltage 25kV, AC-DC drive, traction characteristics are constant current starting + quasi-constant speed characteristics, with power factor compensation and axle load transfer electrical compensation devices, suitable for small radius and long slope lines in mountainous areas. It can be used as heavy-load freight traction when multiple locomotives are reconnected.
1.The vehicle body adopts a traditional mature frame-type integral load-bearing structure.
2.The bogie axle type is Bo-Bo-Bo, which improves the safety of locomotive operation on curved lines.
3.The separate fully laminated traction motor has a uniform magnetic circuit distribution, and has both the soft characteristics of series excitation and the hard characteristics of separate excitation, which improves the locomotive's anti-idling ability.
4.The high-power shell-type main transformer has compact structure, small size and light weight.
5.The separate excitation control system has constant current starting + quasi-constant speed characteristic control; regenerative braking and power factor compensation are coordinated to ensure that the locomotive has greater braking power and braking force during low-speed electric braking.
6.The locomotive has an electrical compensation link for axle weight transfer and idling and sliding protection devices, and the locomotive's adhesion is well utilized.
