The SS3B fixed multiple operation electric locomotive is a 12-axle freight electric locomotive. It consists of two identical 6-axle locomotives connected by couplers and coupled gangways. The two sections are equipped with electrical system high-voltage connectors, control cables, network shielding wires and air system control ducts. The vehicle can be synchronously controlled from either cab. The locomotive adopts a single-phase power frequency system, voltage 25kV, AC-DC drive, and the maximum operating speed of the locomotive is 100km/h.
1.The locomotive has a continuous power of 9600kW, two-section fixed coupling, 2 (Co-Co) bogies. The resistance braking power at wheel rim is 8000kW.
2.The thyristor is used for unequal three-section bridge half-control voltage regulation, and the front and rear bogies are independently powered.
3.The use of feedback resistance braking expands the maximum constant braking force range in the low-speed area of the locomotive.
4.The use of network technology has improved the technical content of the locomotive's control system, increased the reliability of the locomotive, and thus reduced the failure rate of the locomotive.
5.The locomotive adopts technologies such as anti-idling, anti-skid protection devices and electrical axle load compensation to improve the adhesion utilization rate of the locomotive, that is, to improve the running performance of the locomotive.
6.The constant current and quasi-constant speed characteristic control method is adopted to give full play to the locomotive starting traction force and facilitate the operation of drivers and passengers.
