Product introduction

SS7B Electric Locomotive

SS7B electric locomotive is a 25t axle-load freight electric locomotive developed by the company on the basis of SS7 locomotive. The locomotive has 6 axles and 4800kW, adopts single-phase power frequency system, voltage 25kV, AC-DC drive, traction characteristics are constant current starting + quasi-constant speed characteristics, with power factor compensation and axle load transfer electrical compensation devices, suitable for small radius and long slope lines in mountainous areas, and can be used in multiple units.

Application Scenario

Key technologies

1. The vehicle body adopts a frame-type integral load-bearing structure, double cab and double-sided corridor.

2. The axle type is Bo-Bo-Bo, consisting of three 2-axle bogies. The locomotive has a short fixed wheelbase and good curve passing performance.

3. The locomotive electrical equipment realizes cabinetization and unitization.

4. The main transformer is a shell-type integrated transformer. The body, smoothing reactor and power factor compensation reactor share the same oil tank and a forced oil circulation air cooling system.

5. The main circuit adopts a voltage regulation and rectification method in which the traction motor series excitation circuit is a fully controlled + semi-controlled two-section bridge, and the separate excitation circuit is a one-section half-controlled bridge, so as to perform stepless and smooth speed regulation on the locomotive.

6. The locomotive has an electrical compensation link for axle weight transfer and idling and sliding protection devices, and the locomotive's adhesion is well utilized.
