In September 2019, in order to further explore the Russian market and to promote the progress of the project, the vice general manager, Li Yongmei, and other delegations went to Russia to conduct in-depth exchanges on railway, oilfield and other market projects, and participated in the International Railway Fair in the Area 1520(Expo 1520). During staying in Russia, they held business meetings with Elektroprom LLC (EIC), Uralmash Drilling Company, Sinara Transportation Machinery Company (STM), and other companies, and jointly promoted the progress of the cooperation project and achieved certain progress.
The number of oil motor and mining locomotive motor products which were directly exported by CRRC Yongji in Russia and the CIS region has exceeded 1,000 units. It is the exclusive supplier of Russian largest rig manufacturer in China. In the rail transit market, CRRC Yongji obtained the permission to enter the Russian railway market and signed the contract for the prototype of the traction motor of the diesel locomotive, becoming the first enterprise of CRRC to knock on the gate of the Russian Railway.
CRRC Yongji plans to set up an office in Russia, which not only can stabilize the existing market share in Russia, accelerate the efficiency of technical and business communication, effectively provide after-sales service, improve customer’s trust, but also can deepen the construction machinery market and rail transit market while enhancing the company's brand effectiveness.
Expanding the regional market of the CIS, which is centered on Russia, is one of the important contents of the overseas market layout of the “13th Five-Year Plan” of CRRC Yongji. The international business division will increase market development efforts, grasp development opportunities, and build it into a new growth-point of CRRC Yongji's overseas business.
