Inside a trashed, long-abandoned Vic & SA Overland Coach. A series of 3 Coaches, AJ1, AJ2 & AJ3, have changed locations over the decades since their last proper run, but now sit derelict in a siding at Islington Railway Workshops in Adelaide, along with plenty other assorted cargo carriages . Unmaintained and uncared for, they have fallen victim to vandals and the harsh weather, putting them in the great state of disrepair you see above.
The Hunter Valley has always been a big draw card to Rail Enthusiasts, with the heavy traffic and huge trains hauling all sorts of materials, but mainly coal, there\'s always a train nearby to photograph! 2 competing operators Aurizon and Pacific National make their way down the grade from Minimbah into Belford with their respective loads of coal for Export through Newcastle to the world!

I saw this reflection of a passenger on a v-line visiting family in Castlemaine. It was a cold, winter evening and the sun was setting behind the clouds. We were both listening to music and looking out the window, so it\'s a reflection of a stranger, doing what I was doing.

Railway tracks at Southern Cross Station.Trains running on rails, providing us the convenient and safe form of travel. \"Australia\'s first rail systems were mostly built when the country consisted of sparsely settled colonies, before they combined to form a Federation of States in 1901. Until the middle of the 1800s, people travelled around the colonies of the Australian continent by horse-drawn transport and by coastal shipping services. From 1854, when the first steam railway between Melbourne and Port Melbourne started, the railway system of the various colonies developed rapidly. Initially all track and rolling stock was imported, although by the 1880s most of the equipment was being made locally.\"
I love trains. I travel by train on almost every occasion. After falling in love with photography a few years ago, I started to take photos of trains no matter where I was traveling. I never missed an opportunity to take photos of trains. I took this photo while I was waiting for the next train to arrive, the reflection from the glaring sun on the tracks, creates a special effect. It looked so special.
