Recently，the LGN Tank Container which is designed and manufactured by CRRC Yangtze Co., Ltd. (CRRC Yangtze) has successfully passed the railway impact test on special railway impact test line which is certificated by China Classification Society (CCS). It is regarded as a symbol that the LNG Tank Container independently researched and developed by CRRC Yangtze Co., Ltd. has obtained the qualification of international road, waterways and railway transportation. This is another important type test under the witness of supervisors from CCS after successful completion of strength test for container frame structure.
The design of LGN Tank Container manufactured by CRRC Yangtze is strictly conducted as per various of specification and standard: such as CCS’s Container Inspection Specification, GB150.1～150.4-2011 Pressure Vessel, TSG R0005-2011, Supervision Regulation on Safety Technology for Transportable Pressure Vessel and etc. in China; International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMGD Code), International Convention for Safe Container and its amendment; Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods by UN and other international codes and standards.
The volume of this LGN Tank Container is 45m3 which can satisfy with road, railway, waterways transportation and related multimodal transportation in China and abroad and it is also the biggest size of container available for LGN transportation and related multimodal transportation in China railway nowadays.
