On February 8, the Company grandly convened its 2nd Science and Technology Conference. Themed "New Quality Forces Driving Green Transformation", the conference systematically summarized technological innovation achievements in recent years and mobilized deployments for strengthening tech leadership and accelerating transformation and upgrading during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period.
Attendees included Liu Jian, Vice Mayor of Ziyang City; relevant heads from the Association for Science & Technology and the Science & Technology Bureau of Ziyang; Sun Baigang, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Beijing Institute of Technology; Wang Wei, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of CRRC ZELC; Fan Yunxin, CRRC Scientist and Deputy Chief Engineer of CRRC ZELC; Dr. Wang Yuyi, a young scientist of CRRC Zhuzhou Institute; as well as other experts and guests. Also present were Chen Zhixin, Chairman of CRRC Ziyang, and other members of the Company's leadership team, alongside leaders from various units and departments, and representatives of science and technology workers. The conference was presided over by Yang Wensheng, General Manager of the Company.
Liu Jian, in his remarks, expressed strong appreciation for CRRC Ziyang’s vital role in driving Ziyang’s economy.
Wang Wei, on behalf of CRRC ZELC, extended warm congratulations on the successful holding of the conference. He pointed out that since the restructuring and integration, both parties have adhered to coordinated development and complementary advantages, achieving remarkable results in technology, industry, market, and management, thus realizing a win-win development where "1+1>2".
In his speech, Chen Zhixin fully affirmed the Company's scientific and technological achievements during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period and profoundly elaborated on the core position and strategic significance of technological innovation.
Regarding the next steps, he put forward four requirements:

Yang Wensheng read out the Decision on Recognizing Outstanding Science and Technology Projects, Professionals and Rising Stars at the Company’s 2nd Science and Technology Innovation Conference.
The awards included Special Prize, First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize and Excellence Award for scientific and technological projects, Collaborative Innovation Award, as well as Outstanding Science and Technology Professionals and Rising Stars in Science and Technology.
Li Xining, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of the Company, delivered a work report on science and technology innovation entitled New Quality‑Driven Leadership, Green Transition, Striving for a New Chapter of High‑Quality Development in the Company’s Scientific and Technological Innovation.
Focusing on cutting-edge technological trends, the conference also arranged academic reports and special lectures. Dr. Wang Yuyi delivered a frontier report on New-Generation Artificial Intelligence Technology.
Fan Yunxin, a scientist of CRRC, gave a report entitled Prospects for the Development of Heavy-Haul Locomotive Technology.
Professor Sun Baigang from Beijing Institute of Technology presented a report on Key Technologies of High-Power Hydrogen-Based Fuel Internal Combustion Engines.
