Zhong Junlin Innovation Studio Awarded as National Model Worker & Craftsman Innovation Studio

Recently, the General Office of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions issued a notice announcing the list of national model worker and craftsman innovation studios supported and constructed by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions in 2025. The Zhong Junlin Model Worker and Craftsman Innovation Studio (the Studio) of CRRC Ziyang was selected, becoming the first national model worker and craftsman innovation studio in Ziyang City.

With solid technical accumulation and fruitful innovation achievements, the Studio has successively been designated as a National-level Zhong Junlin Welder Skill Master Studio, CRRC Zhong Junlin Golden Blue-Collar & Model Worker Innovation Studio, Sichuan Provincial Model Worker & Craftsman Talent Innovation Studio, and Locomotive Model Worker & Craftsman Talent Innovation Studio, evolving into an influential and demonstrative innovation platform in the industry.

The Studio has completed more than 10 scientific and technological projects, 3 lean management innovation projects, over 40 QC research projects, and more than 200 lean improvement programs.It has published 12 welding papers in national-level journals and 19 in provincial-level journals, created more than 80 advanced working methods and skills, obtained 9 invention patents and 11 utility model patents.It has achieved 61 innovation achievements, 50 of which have been transformed into applications, with the accumulated economic benefits exceeding 20 million yuan.

Up to now, CRRC Ziyang has owned 1 national-level, 3 provincial-level and 4 municipal-level model worker innovation studios, forming a "Model Worker Innovation Studio" matrix covering all manufacturing units.The Studios involve 6 major vocational fields: electric welding, cold rolling sheet metal processing, forging, diesel locomotive fitter, locomotive electrician, and grinder, realizing full coverage from key techniques to important production processes.
