During the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, CRRC, in collaboration with local authorities, launched a Green Energy Stationin Mexico. Combining interactive games, thoughtful services, and cultural exchanges between China and Mexico, it offered a fresh way to enjoy the matches. Drawing nearly 100,000 fans and locals, it quickly became a social media hotspot and a must-visit landmark beyond the stadium.
The Green Energy Station launched simultaneously in Mexico City and Guadalajara on June 16 (local time), and continued to operate on match days including the 17th, 18th, 23rd, 24th, 26th, and 30th. Centered on the theme “Green Ride, Green Future,” the initiative was located along two major rail transit corridors—Mexico City Light Rail Line 1 and Guadalajara Light Rail Line 4. It innovatively integrated four core features: popularization of rail transit knowledge, China-Mexico cultural exchange, fan-friendly services, and online social media engagement. Strategically aligned with World Cup peak travel periods, the hub transformed routine match-day commutes into joyful, culturally enriching journeys filled with fun, warmth, and quality experiences.
Offline buzz meets online frenzy! The campaign triggered an integrated cross-platform digital push, with the dedicated hashtag #GoGreenWithCRRC flooding international social platforms and driving soaring exposure.
