On the morning of August 29th, the Ningbo Rail Transit Line 7 was officially opened for operation. The trains, developed by CRRC ZELC, offering Ningbo a unique surprise on the Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine's Day). This launch significantly enhances travel convenience for residents and strengthens the north-south transportation connectivity within the city. It plays a crucial role in achieving regional transportation integration and fostering development along the route.
The metro line 7 is approximately 39.4 kilometers long, with 25 stations, including 11 transfer stations. It achieves seamless connection with existing Lines 1-5 as well as upcoming regional lines and Line 6, - One line linking multiple routes, enabling smooth travel across the city.
The metro vehicles are developed by CRRC ZELC according to standardized Chinese metro of type B. Train is a 6-car formation and utilizes the highest-grade fully automatic unmanned operation technology of GoA4.
