【Clean Technology and Green Products】CRRC Showcases Integrated Renewable Energy Solutions at WindEnergy Hamburg

FORM: 23/09/2026 Browse number:

CRRC presented four core solution areas at WindEnergy Hamburg 2026, held in Germany from September 22 to 25: the complete wind power supply chain, life-cycle services, advanced wind power equipment, and integrated wind, solar, energy storage, and hydrogen systems. Its exhibits highlighted practical, replicable solutions for the global clean energy transition.

Applying Rail Expertise to Wind Power

Drawing on its expertise in rail traction motors, converter controls, transformers, gearboxes, and precision manufacturing, CRRC has developed a comprehensive wind power portfolio. This spans complete turbines, generators, blades, towers, gearboxes, converters, transformers, and high-performance fasteners.

Its turbines cover power ratings of 1.5–12 MW for onshore applications and 8–20 MW for offshore projects. With more than 20 wind turbine manufacturing bases, CRRC has over 13,000 turbines operating at nearly 400 wind farms across Europe, Oceania, Asia, and South America.

  Products for Diverse Global Markets

At the exhibition, CRRC showcased complete turbines, key components, and energy storage equipment. Its Xuansa Z07 and S07 international turbine platforms address European onshore and nearshore requirements and challenging wind farm conditions worldwide. A floating wind platform extends deployment opportunities into deeper waters beyond the limits of conventional fixed-bottom structures.

CRRC also presented five wind generator technology platforms covering 600 kW–25 MW, wind turbine gearboxes with internationally competitive torque density, and blade manufacturing capabilities exceeding 5,000 sets annually. Supporting products included grade 10.9 high-strength MTD series lockbolts, designed to support safe and reliable turbine operation throughout their service life.

Integrating Energy Sources for Grid Stability

CRRC’s integrated wind, solar, energy storage, and hydrogen solution uses an intelligent energy management platform to coordinate and optimize wind and solar power generation, energy storage, and hydrogen production. By combining complementary resources, the system improves renewable energy utilization and supports more stable power output.

The company also exhibited its 6.X liquid-cooled battery energy storage enclosure. Optimized cooling and multiple layers of protection—including millisecond-level pressure relief, dual fire protection, and monitoring and control systems—help manage heat buildup and improve safety.

A vacuum magnetic-levitation flywheel energy storage system offers rated power of 1,250 kW, a rotational speed of 10,500 rpm, and a service life of up to 1.5 million cycles. Its millisecond-level response supports rapid grid power adjustments. Together, battery storage and flywheel technology provide complementary support for sustained energy balancing and short-term grid stability.

  Connecting Technology and Culture

Models, digital displays, videos, and interactive tables drew industry partners, technical experts, and media representatives to CRRC’s booth. Technical presentations, agreement signings, certification ceremonies, and business discussions were complemented by Chinese cultural activities.

Visitors tried traditional Chinese zodiac rubbing prints, collected stamps, and wrote postcards sharing their hopes for the clean energy transition. These activities created opportunities for cultural exchange alongside technical and commercial engagement.

A young visitor from the Czech Republic tried the Chinese zodiac rubbing activity and left an enthusiastic message on her postcard: “It is a very nice idea! And good luck!”

CRRC will continue incorporating low-carbon innovation into research and development, manufacturing, delivery, operations, and maintenance. Through further international cooperation and expansion of its global capabilities, the company aims to support a more sustainable energy future.
