Ahead of the Chinese New Year, Sun Yongcai, Party Secretary and Chairman of CRRC Corporation Limited, led a company delegation to Baise in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from February 7 to 8 to review local assistance programs and extend holiday greetings to community residents and frontline employees.

  Supporting Local Communities

During the visit, Sun met with families in Jingxi City and Napo County, two areas where CRRC has been involved in targeted assistance initiatives. He met with residents to learn about their housing conditions, employment, income stability, and access to public support programs. He encouraged families to take good care of their health and maintain a positive outlook, expressing confidence that—with ongoing support from government policies and CRRC’s sustained assistance efforts—their living conditions would continue to improve.

Sun also visited a CRRC-funded community reading room, where he spoke with children about their studies and reading interests. He encouraged continued investment in educational resources to support youth development and broaden access to learning opportunities.

Recognizing Frontline Employees and Advancing New Energy Development

Following the community visits, Sun visited the CRRC Baise New Energy Equipment Industrial Base and the Nanning Nanxiao Wind Farm to review operations and meet with frontline employees.

At the Baise industrial base, he received briefings on business performance during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and planning for the upcoming development phase.

He toured the main component workshop to observe the operation of automated bolt-tightening robotic arms, the implementation of safety protection measures for high-pressure pumps, and the use of the main shaft turnover platform, while reviewing on-site safety safeguards and error-prevention systems.

In the blade molding workshop, he examined applications of digital workforce systems, including contactless attendance management, intelligent safety monitoring, and improvements in per-capita labor productivity. At the tower manufacturing workshop, he reviewed plans for digital upgrades to the tower welding production line.

At the Nanxiao Wind Farm, Sun inspected the equipment storage area, living quarters, and employee facilities, with particular attention to spare parts reserves and working and living conditions. He then connected virtually with representatives from 23 wind farms nationwide to recognize their work achievements and extend holiday greetings to frontline employees across the network. He also visited the wind farm’s booster station to review turbine operating conditions and the performance of smart monitoring systems, and observed a full drone-based inspection demonstration at the turbine site, commending the use of intelligent technologies to enhance inspection efficiency and operational stability.
