On March 10, CRRC Dalian officially launched its 2025 Training Program for Outstanding Young Management Talent at Dalian Jiaotong University. The initiative aims to strengthen the company’s leadership by developing a high-calibre, professional, and values-driven cohort of future managers, which is part of CRRC’s broader talent-driven development strategy.
The opening ceremony was attended by CRRC Dalian Party Secretary and Chairman Sun Rongkun, who delivered both a keynote address and the program’s first lecture. Leaders from Dalian Jiaotong University, including Party Committee Deputy Secretary and President Chen Bingzhi, also joined the event, highlighting the long-standing collaboration between the two institutions.
In his remarks, Sun emphasized that young management talent forms the foundation of CRRC’s strategic human resources and called on trainees to align personal growth with company transformation goals. He outlined three expectations for participants:
Strengthen ideals and loyalty – Stay mission-focused and aligned with the company’s broader development goals;
Embrace responsibility and action – Focus on continuous learning, hands-on experience, and initiative;
Practice self-discipline and integrity – Uphold personal ethics and lead by example.
In his keynote lecture titled “Building New Structures, Seizing New Opportunities, Advancing New Journeys - Empowering High-Quality Development through Youth Leadership,” Sun offered insights into transforming mindsets, capturing growth opportunities, and aligning with CRRC’s strategic direction. He further elaborated on the three strategic themes:
Break outdated thinking to build a new transformation framework;
Consolidate resources to capture emerging opportunities;
Advance with momentum toward a new phase of high-quality development.
The training program is jointly supported by CRRC Dalian’s Human Resources and Party Affairs departments, in collaboration with the university’s School of Continuing Education. It marks another step forward in CRRC’s investment in leadership development and school-enterprise cooperation to prepare the next generation of industry leaders.
