Recently, the 11th high-speed EMU manufactured and exported to Indonesia for Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway was shipped from the Qingdao port. This is the last shipment for the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway project, marking the successful completion of China’s first export order of high-speed trains.
The train adopts the Chinese standards and is tailor-made for Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway. It comprises 8 cars (4 motor cars and 4 trailer cars) and has a maximum operating speed of 350km/h. Supported by China’s advanced and mature CR standard EMU technology, the train suits the local operating environment and line conditions in Indonesia, integrates the local culture, and has made adaptability improvement. It features advanced technology, safety and intelligence, strong environmental adaptability, and distinctive local characteristics, satisfying the operational needs of Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway.
Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway is the first overseas construction project of China’s high-speed railway involving entire-system, all-element, and entire-industry chai, which fully adopts Chinese standards, Chinese technologies, and Chinese equipment. After the railway is put into operation, it will provide a new high-speed transportation solution between Jakarta and Bandung, shortening the travel time between the two places from the current over 3 hours to 40 minutes, and providing significant convenience for local people.
