On September 1, Taiyuan Metro Line 2 that is manufactured by CRRC Dalian officially started the no-load trial operation phase, marking the start of countdown to the trial operation with passengers. The “metro dream” of people in Shanxi province will soon come true.
The A-type fully automatic driverless train with stainless steel body of Taiyuan Metro Line 2 is the first of its kind developed by CRRC Dalian based on the GoA4 level requirements, representing the most demanding requirements and highest design and manufacturing level in China’s metro industry. Compared with the traditional aluminum alloy body, stainless steel body has better corrosion resistance; furthermore, it features low operation and maintenance cost, low-carbon and environmental friendliness, safety and reliability, and ride comfort.
After Line 2 starts operation, it will travel on the north-south of Taiyuan, accelerate the connection between the main urban area and the new urban area, and facilitate the green travel of Taiyuan residents.
