New subway train begins operation in Beijing

On December 30th 2017, the new subway train named Dolphin was put in to service on Beijing’s Yanfang line, linking Yanshan and Fangshan areas. The train, developed by CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. has a top speed 80 km/h. It is China's first fully domestically developed and automated subway and can be operated in driverless mode.
