In late February, 60 type C70E wagons arrived in Mombasa. This is the first batch of 330 wagons to Kenya for service on the new Mombasa-Nairobi line. The remainder will arrive in Kenya later this year.
Type C70E open-top wagons are mainly used for transport of coal, ore, construction materials, machinery, and so on.
