On Feb 25, 2016, TPI Polene (TPIPL) held a cutting ceremony in saraburi HIN LAP railway station of Thailand. 8 diesel locomotives and 120 type N62-THA container flat wagons were handed over to TPI. Director of State Railway of Thailand, president of TPIPL and many senior officers witnessed this important moment. Railway Director gives a highly appreciate to CRRC products.
The locomotives and wagons were produced by CRRC Ziyang Co., Ltd and CRRC Meishan Co., Ltd. respectively.
In 1992. CRRC Ziyang had ever delivered 8 diesel locomotives to TPIPL. They are running well in Thailand.
This is the fifth time for CRRC Meishan come into Thailand market in past 25 years. From 1991 to 1997, CRRC Meishan shipped 800 wagons in four batches, which include cement tank wagons and flat wagons. CRRC Meishan also supplied many components to Thailand, such as bogies, bottom frames. Quality products led to new contract again.
