The CR140EH mining dump truck is a 140-ton mining dump truck independently developed by CRRC Datong. Based on CRRC digital, green and intelligent technology platform, the vehicle is customized for different mining truck working conditions. The vehicle has a dead weight of 105 tons, a maximum speed of 48km/h and a maximum gradeability of 26%. The extended-range diesel-electric hybrid powertrain system is adopted, delivering a rated output of 1200 kW. The truck exhibits robust performance and enhanced hill-climbing capability. The adoption of distributed all-wheel drive and multi-wheel steering technologies ensures the efficient allocation of traction and braking forces, providing superior off-road ability and a small turning radius. This design enhances performance on slippery, muddy, and uneven terrain. The modular drive unit design allows for interchangeability among truck drive units. Furthermore, the implementation of hybrid technology coupled with an energy recovery system contributes to effective energy savings.
