HXC2d Passenger Electric Locomotive

Brief introduction

HXD2D high-speed passenger locomotive is a kind of electric locomotive with six axles and continuous power of 7200KW and it is based on the technology platform of HXD2 series for applying to the running condition of Chinese railway. Its main structure and parts adopt advanced technology that has been used in HXD2, HEX2B, and HXD2C electric locomotive. Its single axle power is 1200kW, and the maximum running speed is 160km/h.

Main technical features

1. Converter system adopts home-grown NECT system and diverter switch of intermediate resonance circuit secondary resonance reactor so as to improve redundancy efficiently.

2. Control system adopts home-grown on board network control system based on TCN international standard (IEC61375-1).

3. Ventilation system adopts side wall independent ventilation, and the ventilating set between two sets of machine room can satisfy the need of micro-positive pressure in machine room.

4. It adopts fog and haze prevention design, most of its high-voltage electrical apparatus integration is installed inside the line side high-voltage cabinet, and the area of roof high voltage cable adopts step prevention cover.

5. Body adopts frame welding structure and plate side wall of integral bearing, streamlined driver’s cab head, under frame and rack of integration, and its body width is 3000mm.

6. Bogie design adopts elastic suspension technology of bogie that has been applied in 200km/h locomotive, and its structure of main parts adopts verified mature structure and carries out optimum design.
