Introduction
Modular SS7E electric locomotive is six-axle main line passenger electric locomotive with the max. speed of 170km/h.The locomotive fits for railway great-leap-forward development and satisfy the requirement of standardization, seriation, modularization and informatization. It is modified from DC locomotive in order for China railway transportation.
Main technical characteristics:
1. The equipment arrangement is independent ventilation and middle corridor; transformer is suspended under the locomotive.
2. Keep the main transmission system of SS7E; adopt mature unequal third section bridge phase-control technology with unchanged traction and braking characteristics.
3. Auxiliary inverter provides power for auxiliary system; change the working condition of auxiliary circuit electric equipment.
4. The transformer adopts core type prone transformer which realize full decoupling between windings.
5. Distributed computer network is used for simple information inspection and reliable transmission.
6. The running part and carbody of locomotive is safe and reliable.
