Introduction of the product:
SS6B electric locomotive is a 6-axle transmission phase-control electric locomotive applied for the main lines. It is designed and manufactured on the basis of mature technology of SS4 and SS6 locomotives in the principle of simplification, standardization and serialization. It takes single-phase power frequency with the voltage 25kV. Being made up of two 3-axle bogie and Co-Co as its axle arrangement, it has double driver’s cab with large covers. Multi-locomotives could serve as the heavy-haul freight locomotive for traction. The highest running speed is 100km/h.
Main technical features:
1. The carbody is of integral bearing structure with mature traditional technology, such as driver’s cabs at two ends, large cover and ventilation shutters.
2. Co-Co bogie is applied as well as low-position lateral traction rod devices, which have higher adhesion performance.
3. For the main circuits, power is supplied independently to the bogie so that the locomotive could make compensation for electric axle load transfer, improving the adhesion usage of the locomotive.
4. There are power factor compensation devices installed at the main circuit sides, creating higher power factors and smaller harmonic interference current.
5. The unequal three-section half control bridge rectifier circuits are taken for the electric transmission system to make the adjustment of voltage by phase control, realizing the speed adjustment through tractions controlled by constant current and quasi constant speed.
6. A modified DK-1 electro-pneumatic brake is used for the braking system characterized by the function of electro-pneumatic braking, pneumatic-electro combined braking.
