On September 28th, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council held the launching ceremony of the industrial cultural Heritage (machinery manufacturing) list of the state-owned key enterprise in CRRC, and CRRC ZELC's “Guangdong-Han railway Zhuzhou Locomotive Factory" was selected.
Guangdong-Han railway Zhuzhou Locomotive Factory includes Guangdong-Han railway Zhuzhou Locomotive Factory preparatory Office, joint workshop of Guangdong-Han railway Zhuzhou Locomotive Factory and office building of Guangdong-Han railway Zhuzhou Locomotive Factory. Zhuzhou Locomotive Factory is the first large locomotive repair factory after the completion of the Guangdong-Han railway, is the cradle of new China electric locomotive. "China's first electric locomotive", "the first AC drive electric locomotives in China" and "the world's largest electric locomotive power" were developed in here, this factory has experienced four historic leap that Chinese locomotive was upgraded from common-load to heavy-load, normal speed to high speed, DC to AC, introduction to export and is named as the development history for China railway locomotive.
